Hello Lazies.

A matchup that looked promising this week was the game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night. Both teams were rolling before the clash, with the Bucks holding a five-game winning streak, while the Suns had three.

The result? Suns defeated the Bucks 125-124. Milwaukee had a chance to win the game on the final possession, but Giannis Antetokounmpo missed a 20-foot jumper at the buzzer. Devin Booker was happy to see that (watch below). The match, as a whole, was entertaining throughout the night. Booker scored 30 points, and Chris Paul added 28 with seven assists. Giannis was unstoppable in the paint and dominated the entire game, finishing with a season-high 47 points.

I wanted to focus on this game because both teams felt right before it, and it was a true test for Phoenix in what their current state is like in the season. Phoenix looked like a mature squad that didn’t fret about not leading throughout the game. They stayed within striking distance all night and waited for their golden opportunity to take the lead. And when that came in the fourth, they took it with both hands.

The Suns have made huge improvements together, especially the All-Star backcourt of Chris Paul and Devin Booker. Both look very comfortable with each other, and it shows with them beating top-tier teams and shooting themselves up the Western Conference. The Suns have won seven of eight and have a 15-9 record.

Catch you Monday.
