Hello Lazies.

Just ten weeks ago, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers were covered with confetti, champagne and cigars in hand, and feeling on top of the world. But come this Tuesday, all that joy and relief has now vanished into thin air, with the 2020-21 NBA season starting up, once again.

It was a rapid offseason for NBA teams, but for The Lazy NBA, it was very productive. As you might have noticed, a new look and feel has been revealed, and not just on the hallowed emails, but a brand spanking new website is here too. After the previous never-ending NBA season, I realized that the only way my fellow Lazies could get their NBA fix was from an email every Monday and Thursday. That’s great and all, and that will never change, but what about if you just wanted to hit up the website? So I did what was needed and beefed up the site by importing every issue into the archive, giving every lazy the ability to choose how they want to stay informed.

But the site isn’t just an archive; it’s a home for everything lazy. Might I add, a brand new section has also been introduced called ‘Opinions.’ Opinions give YOU the ability to contribute to The Lazy NBA and bring more insights to the game we all love. All you do is head to the website, fill out the form, and get featured on the site and newsletter. That’s it! Check out the very first opinion below with John Russell’s take on the recent Giannis signing.

Now that I’ve got that off my chest, let’s talk NBA. The most exciting part from the NBA preseason was Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, together and in action for the Brooklyn Nets. Man, this team already looks dangerous in games that don’t even count. And the New York Times has already pinned them as the favorites to come out of the East. Will this team be better than the Milwaukee Bucks? We have a whole season to digest.

So sit back, relax, and let The Lazy bring you the very best, moving forward.

Catch you Thursday.
