Hello Lazies.

With two first-round series left to finish, all the West can do now is wait. But in the East, it’s full speed ahead into the Conference Semifinals with the Bucks vs. Heat, and the Celtics vs. Raptors.

It’s challenging to predict where both these matchups will lead, but around the NBA media, it’s evident that experts are smelling an upset. Despite Miami facing the team with the best record in the NBA, seven out of 18 ESPN NBA experts are picking the Heat to defeat the Bucks in their upcoming Playoff series, all due to the 3-point line.

No team in the league gave up more makes (14.0) or allowed more attempts (39.3) per game than the Bucks during the regular season. Backing that up, Miami was second in the league in 3-point percentage (37.9%) and connected on the sixth most in the league (13.4 per game) in the regular season. The Heat truly have the type of length, athleticism, and shooting ability to frustrate this talented Bucks team, but the big question is, can they stop Giannis.

Miami’s head coach Erik Spoelstra might have the talent (or the bodies) to slow Giannis down, but who he decides to match up the reigning MVP with, will also be the key to their success. The Heat’s been preparing themselves all season long for this clash against Milwaukee, and they believe they are ready to shut them down.

Catch you Thursday.
