Devin Booker from the Phoenix Suns, banked in a staggering 20-foot buzzer beater to defeat the Kings on Friday night. The following game, the sharpshooter found the magic touch once again, scoring 27 points in the first half making 9 of 11 shots including 5 of 5 on three-pointers.
‘D-Books’ outburst was one point shy of the franchise-record 28, which he scored against Dallas in Mexico City earlier in the season. Adding to this, he is the youngest player to score at least 20 points in 16 consecutive games at the age of 20 years and 97 days. This 16-game streak is the second-longest by any first-year or second-year player in the last 20 seasons.
The Suns are bottom of the Western Conference, and Booker only in his second year, but his future at Phoenix and the NBA is full of promise.
Catch you Thursday.
